Reminder: WSS will have a regular school day tomorrow Friday, September 10th. Buses will run on their normal schedule.
Effective Monday, Aug. 30 all tribal employees, tribal owned facilities, visitors, contractors, and vendors coming into tribal facilities are required to wear a mask. This mask mandate is in effective until further notice. Please read the attached TAT mask mandate.

There will be Back to Registration from Aug. 9th thru Aug. 11th from 9am to 1pm at White Shield School for all Kindergarten and new Students.
Back to School COVID Vaccine Clinic at the White Shield Powwow on Aug. 17 from 1pm to 3pm
On Aug. 17 there will be a Back to School Bash at the White Shield Powwow Grounds from 11am to 3pm.

The athletic and academics awards banquet is tonight beginning at 5:00pm at the new high school gym being hosted by White Shield School. Our special master of ceremonies is Chance Rush and special student speaker is Jesse White. We'll see you there!

Spring NWEA testing will begin May 3, 2021 for grades Kindergarten through 8th Grade. Please have your children rested and ready to test. If you have any questions please contact your child's classroom teacher.
School Picture will be on Feb 17 & 18 here at the school with Lifetouch Pictures. Please make sure your child is dressed for pictures.
Students will have outdoor recess as long as the actual temperature is -5 or above, or wind chill is -15 or above. All students will go outside for recess. All students are required to have snow pants and boots in order to play off of the black top and on the playground equipment. An extra pair of mittens and socks in the backpack is always a great idea. Please note we do not have any extra clothing for students.
Would like to have all parents and guardians please go the live feed area of the website to review a important school reopening letter. The information in the letter tells how the school will be reopening after the Christmas break. The school will be going to a hybrid learning schedule for the rest of the school year.

We shall follow NDHSAA Covid guidelines for our upcoming high school basketball season. Junior high and elementary basketball seasons will be held in the spring.
We are currently in the yellow which means 2 fans per player, 2 fans per coach, 2 fans per working staff (stats, bus drivers, security, and admissions). No concessions allowed if in the yellow.
