Here is the list of appropriate outside clothing is a necessity. All students are required to have. WINTER COAT, SNOW PANT, SNOW BOOTS or APPROPIATE CHOES (NO CROCS or SLIDES), CAP and Gloves. Students will need above the stated outer wear to the play off the black top and on the playground equipment. (Reason being, we do not a child to sit all day with wet clothing.) An extra pair of indoor shoes, mittens, and socks in the backpack is always a great idea. Please note we do not have extra clothing for students

Hello this a friendly reminder to please have your child/children dressed accordingly for the winter months and while riding the school bus to and from school. Students will have outdoor recess as long as the actual temperature is -5 or above, or if the wind chill is active prior to and on the day of recess. Appropriate outside clothing is necessary. There will be another text with what the correct winter clothing for students to wear.

Nov. 17 thru Nov. 20 is Native American Week. Please look at the flyer for ideas this week.

November 3 is school picture retake day. From 8am to 10am in the school gym.
Please have your child ready for having their picture taken. There are permission slips in the school office

This next week is Red Ribbon Spirit week Special event this week at White Shield School

Please make sure that your 9th, 10th, or 11th grade students get plenty of sleep tonight and tomorrow night. Because they are the NWEA tests tomorrow and Thursday from 9am to noon.

Tomorrow is the start of Homecoming Spirit week. Monday is Meme Day.

White Shield School Science fair is coming to the school on February 27th at 1pm in the school gym

Lifetouch school pictures will be taken tomorrow February 25 here at the school. The forms have been sent with students. Please fill out the form and return it back to the school with your student. Please make sure your child is nicely dressed and ready to have their picture taken.

White Shield School will be starting at regular time tomorrow Feb.19. With air temperatures in -30 below and the wind chill -50 below. Please be sure that your children are wearing proper cold weather clothing before they get on the bus. Hoodie sweatshirts are not proper extreme cold weather clothing.

There will be no school today Feb. 18 due to the boilers at the school went down this morning.

Due to the extreme cold temperatures tomorrow White Shield School will be starting 2 hours late. With air temperatures in -30 below and the wind chill -50 below. Please be sure that your children are wearing proper cold weather clothing before they get on the bus. Hoodie sweatshirts are not proper extreme cold weather clothing.

With the extreme cold wind chill temperatures all this week and also next week. Please make sure your children are properly dressed for these extreme cold wind chill temperatures. Some students have been spotted just wearing a hooded sweatshirt this is not proper extreme cold weather attire.

Due to the severe wind chill temperatures tomorrow and all of next week. Please make sure your children are wearing proper winter clothing. Winter coats, gloves, hats, and boots because of the extremely cold wind chill conditions. Hooded sweatshirts are not cold weather coats.

The Boys basketball game at Wilton for today will start with the C squad at 4:30pm, Boys JV at 6pm and boys Varsity at 7::30pm. There will NOT be any After School Program today.
