News from the McLean Co Independent. Our Lady Warriors in White Shield Volleyball learned that working as a team is important if you want to win.
We would like to wish our teachers a very Happy Teachers' Appreciation Week! Our teachers are some of the most loving and caring people in our students lives. This serves as a reminder in case you would like to do something special for your classroom teacher.
North Dakota State Assessment is scheduled for May 2-4 for grades 3-8. It is imperative that your child is in attendance for state testing. Please make sure they are rested each night and to school on time.
Reminder that we are in virtual learning the remainder of the week due to weather. Attendance is being taken. Please get your children in their Google classrooms. Contact their teachers if you are having any difficulties.
Thursday April 7th is our Annual School Dental Screenings at our school: EMHC will be screening our students ages 0-15 from 8am-3pm. Our students must have parent/guardian signatures on the permission form. The permission form is available at the school or can be downloaded on the school website under NEWS EMHC School Dental Screenings.

NOTICE: On Tuesday, Nov. 2, Kindergarten through 6th Grade will be doing online learning at home in their Google classrooms for ONE day. They will return on Wednesday. Grades 7th through 12th will continue with regular in-person school. Buses will be on their normal schedule.

Reminder: WSS will have a regular school day tomorrow Friday, September 10th. Buses will run on their normal schedule.
Effective Monday, Aug. 30 all tribal employees, tribal owned facilities, visitors, contractors, and vendors coming into tribal facilities are required to wear a mask. This mask mandate is in effective until further notice. Please read the attached TAT mask mandate.

Back to School COVID Vaccine Clinic at the White Shield Powwow on Aug. 17 from 1pm to 3pm
On Aug. 17 there will be a Back to School Bash at the White Shield Powwow Grounds from 11am to 3pm.
