School is letting out at 1pm today due to water main break.
Today there was a threat at a neighboring school, so to be safe we put White Shield School and students in soft lockdown mode. All outside doors will be securely locked and students will still move about the school as needed.
We are dismissing school due to a water line break in the building.
White Shield school will be closed on Monday, Jan. 15 because of Martin Luther King day.
Starting tomorrow any student getting on the school bus with just a sweatshirt hoodie will not be allowed on the bus. With the temperatures that will be below zero for both the air and wind chill a hoodie does not offer much protection from the cold air. All students will be required to have a winter coat on along with a hat and gloves.
White Shield School will have an early out tomorrow at 2:30pm with backetball games starting at 3:15.

White Shield School is asking that all parents and guardians please make sure that your children are wearing winter coats, gloves, and hat. With the below air and wind chill temperatures coming it is advised that all students be properly dressed for the weather.

School will be letting out today at 3pm due to the Christmas concert at the Rec Center and school will be having an early out tomorrow at 2:30pm because of the Christmas break.
All students will be riding the bus home today after school. Parents please bring the students back to the rec center by 4:30pm for the Christmas concert at 5pm.

Christmas Stockings will be on 3:00pm Thursday (December 8) for Kinder to 6th Grade
