Our Community
White Shield is located "on" the Fort Berthold Indian Reservation in McLean County, ND. As of the 2010 census, the population was 336. It is the primary community of the Arikara people and is named for Chief White Shield.

White Shield is also working to add a new sports complex to their facilities. Once completed, the facilities will have:
a football and baseball field with bleachers and press box
